A car tune up 10 years ago involved distributor caps and rotors.  Nowadays, most contemporary vehicles use individual coils and iridium spark plugs that only get replaced once every 168,000 kilometer.   However, did you know that those same spark plugs are to removed and lubricated at the 100,000 kilometer interval?   Failure to remove the spark plugs at this interval may cause the dissimilar metals of the spark plug and the aluminum cylinder head to fuse together.  If this happens, spark plug removal may damage the cylinder head causing unnecessary grief and costly engine repairs.  See our maintenance packages that include spark plug service with air and cabin filter replacement.
